the spacious and clean apartment at Days Inn exceeded our expectations. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing us with useful information and even picking us up from the railway station. We enjoyed the privacy and access to a pool during our stay.

Staff was very friendly, helpful and service was prompt.
Room was small and full of funiture, after placing the luggage there was little moving space, the carpet was a bit smelly and there was no ventilation in the room.

Clean rooms, well-maintained pool and courtyard. Helpful manager provided late night food. Great location for visiting nearby temples. Spacious rooms with extra bed and bookshelves. Free pick-up from railway station. Friendly and informative staff. Spacious bathroom. Homely atmosphere. Limited menu but safe place to stay with kids.

It doesn't fit the profile of a Booked.net hotel - standard more for backpackers in which case it was expensive for what it was.

the staff is great and the food is good too. Family style place but location is a bit far.

The rooms was decent though it had some issues in the toilet first which was resolved later.
The "memorable" experience was that the evening before we leave, paid the hotel bill and Rs.500/- Extra for cab drop off to railway station early in the morning. But in the morning they arranged two tuk-tuk instead of cab and said this is the only option available at the same price. Upon reaching the railway station the driver asked me the fare and I said, I have already paid at the hotel, then I had to call the hotel and spoken to the hotel manager and then pass the call to the same guy I dealt with and he said, I paid only room rent and not taxi fare. He was asking me to check the bill, it was not mentioned there ofcourse, nice way of cheating! Finally I had to pay another Rs.600/- To catch up the train.

The room which they provide us was not the one which we booked, it was so small and full of insects which disturbed me and my family all the night. I chance the hotel immediately in the next morning to another hotel.

We stayed in the apartment, off the main building. Clean, with fridge, kitchen... Very nice, and the kids enjoyed the private pool! On the way down to the city/lake we always walked (nice walk with views, 10 minutes- upper, 15 minutes lower /city or Tooth temple side), on the way up we took a tuk tuk. Unfortunately there is no direct path from the apartment to the center, you have to go back up to the road. Anyway very good!!!

The hotel is under the reconstruction, it looks like they are building more rooms. We got completely new room, it was clean, nice and comfortable. It is not in the centre of Kandy but it was very quiet neighbourhood and it was very nice to walk to the centre (10 minutes walk). Hotel staff was also very nice and friendly.
The hotel has just one little minus for me - I did not like my breakfast.

What I liked the most in that hotel is that the staff is very friendly and helpful...They are also very flexible and ready to do services and do their best to make your stay pleasant...there is a nice atmosphere and the view is also beautiful.... I recommend this hotel for those with any kind of budget who want to discover sri lanka and the hospitality of sri lankan people... They even offer a free drive from the train station to the hotel at arrival and the person working there can organise for you a 6 day tour in sri lanka for a very reasonable price...
Some rooms at the back need better aeration...so it is preferable to get a room with a balcony or a window
